Conference topics:

- the origin of Old Russian liturgical singing and its originality;
- musical traditions of the Orthodox Churches (Greek, Bulgarian, Serbian, Romanian, Finnish and others);
- spiritual genres of Russian music of the Baroque era: problems of research and performance;
- influences of Western art on Russian sacred music of the 17th - 19th centuries;
- influences of the church music on aesthetics and music structure of secular works by Russian composers of the 19th - 21st centuries;
- "Russian" and "Soviet" in oratorios and cantatas by Soviet composers;
- performing traditions of European sacred music in Russia: from the 18th to the 21st century;
- Russian sacred music as a factor of national identity in literature, painting, theater and cinema, in philosophical works and journalistic texts, in music for media.

The conference will be held in a hybrid form: of presence and online

Time limit for speaking: 20 minutes + 10 minutes of discussion

Deadline: April 15, 2021. The proposal must indicate: the full name of the speaker, academic title and academic degree (if any), affiliation (scientific or educational organization), position, contacts (email address, phone number). The maximum size of abstracts is limited to 1,800 characters including spaces.
